Sanyo Digital Camera Review - Great Features And Easy On The Pocket!
|
There are three cameras that shall be covered in this Sanyo digital camera review. This will give you a good idea for the feel of the Sanyo line of digital cameras. The first digital camera in the Sanyo digital camera review is the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG6 digital camera. This is a 6 megapixel camera that has a 5x optical zoom lens. It also has a 2.5-inch flip-out LCD display that serves as the sole method for reviewing or framing images. The Sanyo CG6 digital camera also includes a built-in flash strobe, an NTSC/PAL video output and a USB 2.0 high-speed computer connectivity. It has seven scene modes and this camera's shutter speeds range fro 4 to 1/2000 second. The Sanyo Xacti CG6 can be found in most stores and is priced at about $330. The next camera for your consideration in this Sanyo digital camera review is the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG65 camera. This camera also has 6 megapixels and a 5x optical zoom lens. The Sanyo CG65 offers a video mode that is said to have file sizes about 25% smaller than a regular MPEG-4 video. Most of the other features of this digital camera are like the CG6: you can store images on SD cards which include the newer SDHC types, there is a 2.5-inch LCD display that flips out and is the only method of reviewing or framing images. There are also 7 scene modes with the Xacti CG65. This digital camera from Sanyo made its debut in April of 2007, and had a price of about $400. The last model of digital camera to consider in this Sanyo digital camera review is the Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD2 digital camera. This 7.1 megapixel camera has a 10x zoom lens and a 2.2-inch LCD display. The Sanyo HD2 has almost the exact same body and lens as its predecessors. The only other change worth noting is that Sanyo has dropped the 60 frames-per-second video mode in the HD1 and HD1a. It was not possible to clock off the data from the higher resolution quick enough to make the video mode possible. The Sanyo Xacti HD2 is marketed as a hybrid device placing an emphasis on its very good video capabilities. It also features a vertical "pistol grip" design which makes it stand out from other digital cameras. It reminds one of a camcorder but without the optical viewfinder. In place of that it has a large tilt/swivel LCD display. The HD2 has an MPEG movie mode that has resolutions up to 1280 x 720 pixels. It has frame-rates up to 30fps in all of its resolutions. Again, this camera's images are stored on Secure Digital cards and now the VPC-HD2 is compatible with the newer SDHC cards. The Sanyo Xacti HD2 was first seen in stores in March of 2007, and its price is set at about $700. By looking over the Sanyo digital camera reviews, you have probably become more knowledgeable about this company's different types of digital cameras. Hopefully you are just a little bit closer to making up your mind as to exactly what type of camera will be in your future. |
